Hi Sam, before repairing the wall using cement, let me ask you a question.

Apart from calling it as cement,

what is the other name of it?

Mixed mortar.

What about if we add the stone inside the mixed mortar?

It is concrete.

Sam, please show us to how to repair the wall using cement.

First, take a trowel.

Take part of the mixed mortar to the mortarboard.

Then we can start the first step to repair the wall.

Take half of the mixed mortar and then apply on the wall.

Done.

When the mixed mortar dries a little bit, apply a second layer.

Then the repair procedure is complete.

If you are a newbie working on it, you will see a smooth surface after applying the mixed mortar most of the time.

In fact, having a smooth finish is wrong.

We should make a rough surface instead.

It is because when we apply the second layer of mixed mortar,

the rough surface will have more contact with the mixed mortar so that it can adhere on the first layer strongly.

The smooth surface will have less contact surface.

It is almost done.

The result is really good! You can see a right angle here.

It is quite simple to repair the wall using cement.

Yes. If you are interested and have time,

You can DIY at home.

Good!
